We are looking for a Human Resource Manager to join our dynamic team!
DROP Group provides support and resources to our design and manufacturing companies within the industrial manufacturing and marine fields. We primarily create made-to-order sprockets and marine components with industry leading turnaround times and quality.
As Human Resources Manager you'll oversee our most important asset - our people! You'll develop policy that will shape our culture, identify and develop leaders, and oversee employee performance to elevate the whole team.

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital

Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource managementÂ
Provide leadership in fostering an organizational culture, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, innovation, productivity and excellence.
Works alongside the Controller to set, monitor, and achieve budget targets.
Continuous monitoring of adherence to internal polices and employment standards.
Implementation of a variety of HR programs such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc. while also successfully managing these programs;
Support team members within the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc.
Recruitment, training and retention of top talent in the industry enhancing our core strengths of the business and having a strong and diverse team.
Participate in HR workshops, seminars, and conferences to connect with other HR professionals and keep updated with the latest trends.
Ensure all staff maintains the knowledge, skills and abilities required to function to the best of their abilities in their roles.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or related experience.
Minimum 5-years of progressive experience in Human Resources
Professional designation as Chartered Human Resources Professional (CHRP) considered an asset
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
